Our Story: How Thrive Business Strategies Was Born
From Entrepreneurial Success to Business Coaching Excellence

Cindy’s Story
Cindy Piva, the founder of Thrive Business Strategies, spent over 20 years owning and operating Pineridge Golf Course—overseeing its development, construction, and management. However, after two decades in business, she realized something was missing.
“When my oldest child entered grade eight, it hit me—I had never had a summer off with my kids. My business was running me, rather than me running my business.”
Determined to regain control over her life while helping others do the same, Cindy sold her business and discovered business coaching. After extensive training with the Professional Business Coaches Alliance (PBCA), she launched Thrive Business Strategies in 2009, dedicated to helping entrepreneurs break free from operational chaos and step into confident leadership.

Anna’s Story
Anna Harrison spent 32 years building and successfully selling her business before transitioning into leadership coaching. Initially considering counseling, she realized her true passion lay in helping business owners thrive through strategy, leadership, and growth planning.
“I’ve always been passionate about guiding people. When I sold my business, I wanted to help others reach new heights—so I turned to business coaching.”
Anna trained with PBCA and joined Cindy at Thrive Business Strategies, where she specializes in strategic planning, leadership development, and business growth strategies.
